Write a 3 to 4- page essay analyzing important social experiences or events in your life. The purpose of this assignment is to encourage you to apply sociological concepts to current events and your everyday life by considering how different socialization experiences and larger social forces shape your sense of self and/or the course of your life. For this assignment:
1.) Select two separate important social experiences or events in your life. Try to choose events or experiences in which you learned major life lessons or when you gained new insights about yourself as a member of our social world.
2.) Provide a description of the experiences or events. Record the key details or background information to provide a clear depiction of the event for your reader. Keep in mind, the primary focus of your paper should your analysis, not a recollection of the events. Therefore, the description of your experiences or events should be clear and concise.
